Why Tykhe
Tykhe started with something I have always loved: making things with my hands.
Over the years, I've made pieces for friends and people I love — wallets, little gifts, objects for the home and things I simply wanted to see exist.
I use traditional handcraft techniques, but I like to play with them. I love geometric shapes, unexpected combinations and colorful leather. I want my pieces to be useful, but never boring.
Tykhe is my way of sharing those objects beyond the people around me.
And because I believe a gift should carry a little more than just the thing itself, every Tykhe piece comes with a wish for good fortune.
In Greek mythology, Tykhe was indeed the goddess of good fortune, chance, and prosperity.
